Vyera is an ambient edge-glow music visualizer for Windows 11.
It listens to whatever you play and turns the border of your display into living light —
beats physically push it, colors follow your album art, and it answers in
about thirty milliseconds.
This desktop is live — so is the whole page. Choose a character
Most visualizers ask for your attention.Vyera works at the edge of it —a ring of light around everything you do,breathing with the music, never in the way.
Make it yours
Every part of the light is yours to move.
The color it throws, how hard beats push it, how far it spills, which edge answers
which instrument — all of it, tuned from one small window.
And unlike most product pages, this panel is not a screenshot. Drag the sliders —
the desktop above and the edges of this very page will follow you.

What it does
Light that listens.
Every part of the pipeline was built, measured and tuned for one feeling:
the glow moves when the music does — not a beat later.
Thirty milliseconds, measured
Speakers to photons in ~30 ms at 120 Hz. A deadline-aligned render pipeline presents
each frame just before Windows composes it — and the numbers ship inside the app,
measured live.
Beats push, light answers
A beat isn't a brightness value — it's an impulse into a spring. The glow expands,
carries momentum, overshoots a breath and settles. It feels physical because the
math is.
Palettes born from your music
Album artwork is read locally and distilled — dominant color, true accent,
contrast-aware gradient — then morphed in smoothly as tracks change. Hue never
jumps with the audio.
Four edges, four instruments
Bass warms the bottom of your screen, vocals hold the sides, treble lifts the top —
energy redistributed around the perimeter, never piled on. Each edge is yours
to assign.
React to what you care about
Glide the focus from bass to vocals. Dial beat response from off to strong. Or open
the advanced mix and weight every signal yourself — brightness stays balanced
automatically.
Private by design
Vyera hears your system audio through Windows loopback — the microphone is never
touched. Nothing recorded, nothing uploaded, no account. Everything stays on
your machine.
Engineering
Every number, earned.
The diagnostics panel prints the real, live pipeline — capture to glass —
so “low latency” is a measurement, not a slogan.

FAQs
Good questions.
What does Vyera do?
Vyera turns the edges of your Windows display into ambient rim lighting that
reacts to whatever's playing — color follows the album art, motion follows the beat, and
the response is fast enough (~30 ms) to feel like the light is part of the song.
Does Vyera listen to my microphone or record anything?
Never. Vyera reads your system's audio output through Windows loopback — the
microphone is never opened, nothing is recorded or uploaded, and there's no account or
telemetry. The privacy policy fits in one breath.
Which music apps work with it?
All of them. If your PC is playing it — Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, a game,
a film — Vyera hears it. Album-art colors come from Windows media info, with an optional
deeper Spotify link for Premium accounts — here's how to connect it.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Vyera is free on the Microsoft Store — no licence key, no account, no
trial period, and no paid tier waiting behind it. Every feature is on from the first launch.
How much CPU does it use?
About one percent of a modern CPU while music plays, near zero when idle, and
roughly 50 MB of memory in the background. It's built like a good instrument: all of the
budget goes into responsiveness, none into waste.
Will it get in the way of games or movies?
No — Vyera is click-through, never steals focus, and politely steps aside the
moment another app goes fullscreen on that display, returning when it ends.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 11 and any GPU. A 120 Hz display makes the sync feel telepathic, but
other refresh rates work beautifully too. It installs from the Microsoft Store, needs no admin rights, and uninstalls clean.
